Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:


  • Oracle MFG BA and Lead  is an expert-level and lead role that leads the team of BA’s  to implement Oracle ERP(Fusion and R12) on manufacturing  related areas. 
  • The candidate needs to have a strong team leadership skill set to lead the team in different regions, different time zones and different professional areas in ERP deployment.
  • The candidate also needs to be a master on the business systems in the WIP/BOM/Quality/Planning/Warehouse Management Area for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS R12, while also having extensive knowledge of the Oracle EBS 12.2.6 or higher version include Fusion Cloud for the modules of OM/PO/Costing, so as to coordinate with other team leaders to establish and maintain the correct standard global design for the company.
  • The candidate should have knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment where Order Management, Shipping, Work in Process, Bills of Materials, Purchasing, and Standard Costing was utilized.  The candidate needs to be able to train, implement, and support business processes for Oracle Manufacturing , Quality, Planning, WMS, etc.
  • Needs to have strong working knowledge of Manufacturing. Leads analysis for conversion of existing legacy data, completes regression testing, and provides analyses and specifications for development work for any new or changed system requirements. Documents business policies, practices and procedures to meet company standards and user needs.
  • Leverages existing system's standard functionality to implement efficient and consistent Avery Dennison Global processes and procedures. Brings a level of functional and technical knowledge of Oracle’s Fusion Cloud products as well as Oracle EBS 12.2.6 products.
  • A candidate who is familiar with the Printing industry would be a highly positive recommendation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:


  1. Lead a system consulting team to guide them for the ERP implementation work and provide support where needed
  2. Coordinate with business partners to look into any initiatives brought up from the leadership team
  3. Work with other team leaders within IT to help to build overall suitable IT roadmap or initiatives
  4. Provides Leadership and supports project execution through maintaining project plans, tracking task completion reports, updating project status, escalating issues.
  5. Monitors project dates and meet individual deliverables as well as support other team members Classification: Avery Dennison - Confidential
  6. Translate business objectives into requirements and functional specifications, supporting document creation and automation efforts.
  7. Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements
  8. Strong competence in developing presentations required (Google Docs, Presentations, and sheets. Or alternatively Strong Competence of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  9. Partner with IT/Vendor resources to review specifications and coordinate approvals
  10. Provide subject matter expertise, working to define business processes and effective solutions.
  11. Document business processes, work-flows and requirements as they relate to the problems being solved by the initiative Analyze data extracts and complete data mapping.
  12. Lead portfolio of projects end to end, ensuring all deliverables are met.
  13. Effectively leads change, working with key stakeholders including management and end users to ensure involvement, participation, and encouragement of others ideas and contributions for effective teamwork and project completion.


Qualifications


WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:


  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or Advanced Degree
  2. 10+ years experience in working on manufacturing/IT projects in the Manufacturing/Quality/Inventory/BOM/Planning area. Strong knowledge in Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS modules, sufficient knowledge of Order Management (OM), Purchasing, Planning, and Shipping. Costing expertise would be a strong plus.
  3. 5+ years of leadership experience for a team across regions and timezones
  4. Familiar with the project initiation process, like AOP, Budgeting, Approval etc..
  5. Ability to look into the overall solution in a high level standpoint which really benefits the company
  6. Very logical thinker. Very organized and structured in methodology and work habits.
  7. Ability to foresee issues and take action to avoid issues.
  8. Ability to see a need and provide a solution even if before being asked to provide a solution. Capable of performing analyst type tasks to understand and evaluate a business need / change and define in detail the logical solution to the business need, using existing functionality or specifying upgrades to functionality to resolve business problems.
  9. Sensitivity and persuasiveness skills to help the users understand what they may need vs. what they request.
  10. Assertive leadership, with effective skills in gaining internal customers’ - management and users’ - cooperation and acceptance of changes.
  11. Highly effective communication and listening skills to grasp complex tasks and adapt communications to be most understandable for the users.
  12. Training skills -- ability to organize, develop and deliver effective training using presentation, interaction and feedback. Prepare materials to facilitate hands-on learning.
  13. Strong creativity and troubleshooting skills required, with ability to logically isolate and resolve complex problems, whether business or system oriented. 
  14. Willingness and ability to travel frequently domestic and international.
  15. Strong planning and scheduling and manufacturing focus to help deliver what our customers want and need. Supply Chain Planning/Demand Planning/Production Scheduling and manufacturing knowledge / background.
  16. Must possess a strong "sense of urgency" to get work done quickly and correctly.
  17. Independent worker -- must be able to self-manage to a large part while planning and reporting task progress to a supervisor and team.
  18. Apparel background or Printing Industry background  is a strong plus.
  19. Oracle Fusion Cloud and EBS system implementation, training and support experience a strong plus.
