    Role Summary & Role Description


    This is a hands-on role for a strong Oracle EPM Technical resource for Essbase, PCMCS, EDMCS, and PBCS implementation experience.  Looking for strong Implementation and Development, Support experience candidate with 8+ years of relevant experience & willingness to learn new technologies and work on stringent timelines.


    Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject. Finance background also applicable.
  • Core/Must have skills


  • Experience with EDM or DRM implementations including establishing difference apps within EDM, defining validation rules, and creating subscriptions to support publication to EPM and Non-EPM product systems.
  • Strong Essbase developer experienced with Essbase 21c on-prem or Essbase implementation in cloud environment. Strong understanding of ASO/BSO cube development.
  • Strong Oracle or SQL Server database skills that is the source of data for Essbase cube construction.  PL/SQL experience is a big plus.
  • Experience in EPM Cloud Application and Modules like PBCS, EPBCS (Financials, Workforce, Capex, Projects).
  • Be able to work with business teams to capture requirements and translate to EPM product designs.
  • Must be familiar with Oracle Cloud Data Manager (CDM) and have experience developing mappings to support EPM products.  
  • Implement EPM Performance tuning and application optimization
  • Functional and technical knowledge of financial systems and business processes, especially around planning, budgeting, & forecasting
  • Strong understanding of Business Rules functions and commands.
  • Understanding PBCS\EPBCS dimensionality, calc scripts, web forms, task list and reports
  • Experience in creating a budget approval process
  • Experience in EPM Security roles and responsibilities
  • Shell scripting and EPM Automate experience for complete automation
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and the ability to use Smart View data grids and functions.
  • Well-versed in the fundamentals of data management and data governance.
  • Demonstrates proven knowledge and experience with leading practices in Financial Master Data Management.
  • Proficiency in the creation of Registering Applications, managing Node Types, properties, Viewpoints, Create Requests, Export Data, User access setup, Migration, and Automate tasks in EDMCS.
  • Proficiency in the creation of versions, Hierarchies, Properties, Validations, Nodetypes, Node Access groups, and User Management setup in EDMCS.
  • Proficient in building designing and building required Exports for downstream applications in EDMCS.
  • Should have experience in creating Imports, Blenders, and loading metadata using Action scripts in EDMCS.
  • Deep understanding of the metadata, dimensions, attributes, and integration with Oracle Financial Cloud and other Cloud EPM products like Essbase/EPBCS/
  • Experience in REST APIs, Oracle EDM, PowerShell, and Groovy.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in and SmartView
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of financial process and functional processes
  • Team Player willing to work across multiple team to deliver solutions
  • Good to have skills
