Job description: Oracle Technical Developer
Role Summary:
Responsibilities:
Developing various database instances and implementations, within various environments
Design, develop, test and implement requirements
Participate in code reviews, identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues, review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation
Work as a member of a cross-functional project team contributing to technology-based solutions
Accurately estimate development timelines
Monitor and debug production issues and get resolutions deployed
Engage with the Business Analysts and System Analysts, to understand, clarify and confirm requirements and low level technical design
Engage with Product Specialists to understand, clarify and confirm the design and architecture
Experience in end-to-end implementation projects, Upgrade, rollouts, and support projects is added an advantage
Strong on global enterprise enablement/customizations
Work closely with cross-functional and global support teams
Requirement:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree from reputed university (BE/BTECH/MCA/CA/MBA Finance)
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Oracle ERP with exposure to SQL/PLSQL, Forms, Reports, workflow and Discoverer
Basic Java / OAF knowledge will be an added advantage
Strong business acumen and communication skills. Ability to work from within IT, while also working across IT and with the business
Be able to cope with multi-tasking assignment excellent analytical, interpersonal and good communication skills
Working experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Team Player, responsive & organized
Willing to travel when required, up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to any of the world-wide Flowserve sites
