Job Summary


The OpEx analyst will report to the FSS Leader. This position will play an important role within the OpEx team which supports Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the FSS. As part of this team, the role will support the implementation of operational excellence strategies, the incorporation of lean principles, practices & tools in the culture and processes under transformation, implementation & actions that bring about improvements which include but are not limited to customer value, quality, delivery and growth.


Responsibilities: 


The OpEx analyst will be responsible for activities in the following key areas:


  • Process Improvement: Drive operational excellence within FSS by working with all teams to create, standardize and improve processes. Support and coach FSS teams on the implementation of lean tools such as MDI, nine step problem solving, leader standard work & process mapping.
  • Work Migration: Support the transition of finance processes from the local finance teams in the United States and Ireland to the FSS. Work with the teams to support the stabilization of these processes.
  • SMART Transformation: Support FSS on its SMART transformation journey. This will require supporting & coordinating test cycles for the Oracle GL module during R12 deployments.
  • Project Management: Support & coordinate other FSS projects e.g., implementation of new finance software tools.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or other similar qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, including 5 years of experience in similar multi-national accounting environment.
  • Knowledge of financial systems skills and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge on Project management/Lean will be added advantage.
