Role Context


The Jobholder report to VP - Head Securities Custody Operations, in terms of guidance and authority and is guided by applicant in terms of strategic issues, compliance, etc. However the jobholder should be able to independently interact with Internal/External parties and is expected to be aware of the changes in the regulation


Role Description


Global Securities Operations is looking to hire a qualified professional with good analytical and functional background to join their Business management team supporting the Head Custody Operations. The team member will be responsible for providing extensive support on MIS, Business analytics & presentation, Audit / Regulatory information submission as appropriate.

Your key responsibilities


  • Perform data analysis to support management strategy and decision-making.
  • Coordination of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and resiliency measures for the department.
  • Accountable for execution and management of core business management tasks including vendor relationship management, regulatory reporting, volume trending, Monthly packs, Global MI updation and presentations for  Senior management
  • Providing inputs for the global capacity model exercise, GTO Taxonomy mapping, client profitability and process flow analysis
  • Ensure standardisation and coordination where possible within Business Management teams across the Global COO organization.
  • Contribute to Adhoc change initiatives/ projects for Global Securities Operations mapping out inter-dependencies, cost and benefit views.
  • Interact with and build relationships across all key stakeholders within (regional, business) and external to Global Securities Operations. (Technology, business partners, Finance, HR, Compliance, CRES, CSBC etc)
  • Preparing PowerPoint Presentations/Microsoft Powerpoint and managing Vendor Payment Management.
  • Assist in implementation of the staff engagement and training & development objectives

Your skills and experience


Technical Skills:


  • Experience as finance and/or business analyst. Risk & Regulatory reporting background would be preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to transform complex issues into efficient solutions
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills

Behavioral Skills: (e.g. communication skills)


  • Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • Self-motivated, independently, fast thinking, dynamic with exposure to finance
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Maturely and properly handle confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to converse clearly with senior onshore stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications


  • Graduate (BA / BS / B.Com, etc.) with 5 to 8 year experience in the relevant field
  • Exposure to the Indian capital markets, settlements or having custody background
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills
