Job Title: ICM TFFI KYC Site Lead

Role Description

• The Site Lead function for India manages the Institutional Cash Management (ICM) / Trade Finance Financial Institutions (TFFI) teams within this region. Day to day responsibilities include to manage, lead and support the teams completing the client KYC adoptions and risk assessments for correspondent banking relationships within ICM TFFI. The role is fundamental in ensuring strict adherence to Deutsche Bank’s KYC and AML requirements.
• The successful candidate is an expert in KYC and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) topics and provides leadership and guidance to all ICM TFFI KYC officers in the region. The position works directly with the Accountable Client Owner (ACO) responsible for the client relationships with our correspondent banking clients to complete client KYC adoptions and reviews, ensuring strict adherence to Deutsche Bank’s KYC / Anti Money Laundering (AML) Compliance requirements.

Your key responsibilities

• Functional and disciplinary management of the India based KYC Teams within ICM TFFI working closely with all stakeholder in the end-to-end KYC process for ICM TFFI
• Supports implementation of KYC KOS and policy changes within the region
• Responsible to ensure timely completion of the full KYC process to the agreed quality in the region
• Ongoing optimization of existing KYC processes based on specific requirements for Correspondent Banking
• Proactively drives proper stakeholder management across all parties involved / affected and facilitates best practice sharing within the region and globally

Your skills and experience

• Over 10 years of experience in Correspondent Banking / Institutional Cash Management / Compliance / KYC in a large financial institution in a leading position required
• Ability to lead and develop a regional team, including strong performance management 
• In depth understanding of the Corresponding banking business, it’s products and related Compliance as well as non-financial risk experience in successful cooperation with 1st and 2nd LoD functions
• Resilience and commitment, ability to plan, prioritize and work under time constraints as well as accuracy, diligence and the ability to deliver high quality results within deadlines
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with seniors and in virtual teams
• Professional communication skills in English
