About you and the role
As an Operations IT Data Technologist, you will provide expertise and leadership to a defined discipline and/or business process section through direct engagement with end users and or through functional super user communities.
Responsibilities
The Operations IT Date Technologist should have significant experience within manufacturing facilities,
- This role manages data including the global Maintenance, Repair and Operating (MRO) supplies catalog and/or SAP Master Data Configuration. Ensures alignment of sites to the global master data.
- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- This role leads projects or project steps to create solution methodologies such as data mining, statistics, visualization, optimization and simulation, for example transferring data to a tenant in case of divestiture.
- Should have a strong work process focus, and strong leadership/facilitation skills to effectively partner with site maintenance and production leaders to enable a culture of improvement and sustainability across the site/business end users going forward.
- Lead and facilitate site/business functional synergies related to Operations ITOT, including functional partnership, work process effectiveness, system usage and effectiveness, training, troubleshooting, and targeted improvements.
- This role is global and is aligned to a defined Business Process area. Priorities are set globally to assure highest value work gets priority.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree plus engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.
- To have the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience related maintenance/operations field along with 10 or more years' experience.
