Risk Assessment - Executive Summary Manager


Role Summary

State Street uses third parties to support internal processes and in the delivery of certain products and services to clients.  These third parties are evaluated and risk assessed through our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program.  At the conclusion of the TPRM process, an Executive Summary is produced which provides an overview of the risk posture introduced through the use of a third-party for a particular service or product.  The Third-Party Risk Management Executive Summary Senior Associate is responsible for monitoring daily activity, creating the Executive Summary and providing it to senior management of the organization.  The successful candidate will liaise with key stakeholders within the TPRM program, business partners and senior management to effectively communicate risk posture and support compliance with our regulatory obligations.


Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor Archer dashboard to identify engagements requiring Findings input and Executive Summary
  • Review engagements and results of the TPRM risk assessment to ensure an understanding of the risk posture and any issues identified, identify appropriate business contacts and ensure executive sponsors are accurately captured
  • Input findings and create Executive Summaries ensuring accuracy of all components and proper formatting of the report
  • Liaise with TPRM or business partners, as necessary, to correct deficiencies and ensure clarity of the engagement, risk posture and results of TPRM review
  • Self-review and / or peer review to ensure Executive Summaries are fit for executive level management
  • Communicate results through distribution of the Executive Summary; respond to inquires from senior management in an accurate & timely fashion with a customer service mindset
  • Adhere to SLA; identify/support opportunities for process enhancements
  • Assist with the creation and / or maintenance of procedure documents and FAQs
  • Participate in project management efforts including tests of Archer system enhancements
  • Flexibility in working outside of direct responsibilities to support emerging TPRM program requirement changes

Qualifications
  • Third Party Risk Management work experience within financial services sector (10+ years)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Prior experience with Archer / RSA platform is preferred
  • Any certifications in risk management would be an added advantage
