External Job Title: Operations Excellence Manager
Job Summary: We're seeking an adaptable and collaborative Operations Excellence Manager to join our team. This role will focus on driving cost savings, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing free cash flow. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and optimize business processes. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategies to drive cost savings across the organization • Collaborate with product and program teams to implement efficiency improvements Programs • Lead initiatives to reduce customer returns and manage inventory effectively • Lead Inventory Health Charter within Category to reduce Unhealthy and Unsellable inventory • Oversee operational excellence goals and conduct periodic leadership reviews • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, or related areas • Proficiency in data analysis and project management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field • Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices • Knowledge of e-commerce or media industry operations • Demonstrated success in implementing cost-saving initiatives • Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis software
About the Team: Our Operational Excellence team is dedicated to driving efficiency and innovation across the organization. We work collaboratively with various departments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance our overall performance.
A Day in the Life: In this role, you might start your day by analyzing recent operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement. You could then lead a cross-functional meeting to discuss potential solutions and develop action plans. Later, you might work on preparing a presentation for leadership, showcasing the progress of ongoing initiatives and proposing new strategies for enhancing operational efficiency.

Operational Goals Ownership: Take ownership of Op2 goals and lead periodic leadership reviews, focusing on:
Reducing customer returns
Minimizing unhealthy inventory
Improving Free Cash Flow (FCF)
- 6+ years of with Excel experience
- Master Degree
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- Experience with SQL
