Description
We are seeking an experienced Operation Theater Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong background in surgical technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgeries and ensuring that the operating room is properly maintained and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating room for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
- Maintain sterile environment in operating room
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment after surgery
- Stock operating room with necessary supplies and equipment
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-6 years of experience as an Operation Theater Technician
- Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of surgical technology and procedures
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment
- Ability to maintain a sterile environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work long hours and be on call as needed
