QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and Outlook is preferred, along with the ability to learn and adapt to other applications as needed
  • Proven ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost sensitivity and discretion
  • Working knowledge of employee transport management tool “MoveInSync” is an additional benefit
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in the local language, Kannada, being highly desirable

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As a valued member of the McKinsey Global Capabilities & Services (MGCS) Office Services Team, you will be based at our Bengaluru Center office. You will collaborate with office services team members across various McKinsey centers within India, ensuring seamless operational integration and support. Your role will require close coordination with leaders and colleagues from different service lines, including HR, finance, service line leaders, recruitment, legal, external COE team and cross-location teams, fostering a cohesive and efficient work environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Office Services Assistant, you will perform a variety of on-site administrative duties that collectively contribute to the functionality and appearance of the office. In this dynamic role, you will oversee a wide range of office services to ensure the optimal functioning of our Bengaluru Center office.  
In the area of transport management, you will oversee daily shift schedules and generate routes for both login and logout. You will monitor daily transport operations to ensure efficiency and reliability, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deployment, on-time arrivals, and departures. Your responsibilities will also include conducting vehicle inductions and creating profiles for new joiners, briefing them on the usage of Moveinsync, and informing them of cut-off times for updating shifts. 
Additionally, you will manage and respond to transport-related emails and queries, monitor drop schedules, handle transport helpdesk queries and calls, arrange cabs for airport transfers, and provide logistical support for internal and external events. Conducting briefing sessions for vendors and drivers to ensure compliance with company standards will also be part of your role. This is an in-office role requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Flexibility and a customer-service mindset are essential for success in this position.
