Job Description
Major Accountabilities:
- Management and coordination of DFMEA in Plato for new development components with Tier 2 suppliers
- Management and coordination of DFMEA in Plato for new development components by in-house Aptiv designers
- Plan & manage DFMEA according to customer & internal timing plan; hit milestones and gateway reviews while collaborating with internal and external customers
- Initiate DFMEA review meetings to ensure project targets, participate in change management meetings and status review meetings
- Regular update of DFMEA status for the components and sharing of the data with the project team
- On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv
- Support and comply with all internal & external audit controls
- Applying knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly methods;
- Keeping up to date knowledge of products and design tools;
- Monitor project and identify and report DFMEA deviations and change requests according to time plan and design.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers, proactively managing the relationship to improve delivery against their expectations and to identify continuous improvements.
