Role Description
This position is within Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) a 2nd line of defence (LOD) and a part of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) function of the Bank. Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) manages the Bank’s non-financial risks, including Operational Risk and Reputational Risk. The NFRM Framework Team defines the Framework to appropriately identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, report and escalate non-financial risks, as well as calculate and allocate Operational Risk Capital. The NFR Framework defines the consistent management of risk across 90 non-financial risk types.
Risk Control Assessment (RCA) is the process of risk identification, assessment, control and remediation across Deutsche Bank (DB). This is facilitated by the Non-Financial Risk Type Taxonomy (NFRTT) and DB Control Inventory (dbCI), which are a proprietary library of risks and controls.
The role is responsible for supporting the RCA and Findings Management, by designing, developing and implementing system-based solutions to support these activities and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with global NFRM colleagues.

Your key responsibilities
Risk Frameworks is responsible for the development of risk management frameworks and their specific components to ensure the bank's risk management standards are applied consistently throughout the bank.
Work includes:
- Defining, designing, developing, maintaining and improving specific bank-wide risk frameworks
- Collaborating with colleagues as appropriate to ensure outcomes reflect requirements and to a high level of quality
- Ensuring that the risk framework(s) adhere appropriately to relevant legal, regulatory and the bank’s policy requirements
- Developing process and procedures to report on, manage, and mitigate risks to acceptable levels
- Reporting to internal and external stakeholders including regulators
- Support the development of solutions to connect data, processes and reporting across multiple non-financial risk systems
- Work closely with NFRM Framework team members to identify business requirements and collaborate to develop, test and implement system solutions
- Support with urgent activities at short notice, including support of projects
- Appropriate escalation of delays and unfamiliar tasks to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Updating and maintenance of myDB (SharePoint) pages related to Risk and Control Assessment/ NFRM
- Support on enquiries from auditors and regulators
- Creation of ppt’s for management for efficiency projects
Risk & Control Assessment (RCA)
- Reconciling the annual organisational updates to the RCA assessment unit structure
- Creation and maintenance of a central repository of RCA assessments and sign-offs
- Quality assurance reviews of assessments captured in the central repository
- Create periodic RCA status and results presentations and report to relevant stakeholders and senior management
- Provide regular status updates including escalation of overdue actions to key stakeholders
- Coordination and timely response to enquiries from stakeholders regarding work product
- Provide support for future developments of the RCA tool
Your skills and experience
Experience:
- Experience of working on a time critical topics and working with group-wide counterparts
- Experience on NFR Framework topics
Competencies:
- Excellent partnering and communication skills as well as stakeholder management combined with the ability to successfully navigate in a complex organization, build strong relationships and work collaboratively with the own and other teams
- Good working experience in MS Office (incl. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
(especially Word functionalities) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Education/ Qualifications
- MBA, FRM, PRM, or Risk analysis certification. CFA would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma or equivalent certification or experience working in banking, finance, economics or business administration
