Overview:We are looking for an expert Product Manager with a financial service industry background and excellent customer management skills to work within LSEG's Network Products & Services (NPS) organisation. This is a meaningful role working alongside other Network Product Managers who run an extensive global network product portfolio covering: LAN Connectivity including our Datacentre Network Fabrics and Office Networks;Global WAN & Edge Connectivity including connections to Internet and Cloud;Customer & Markets Connectivity including Low Latency & Multicast technologies;Application Network Connectivity including Firewall, Load Balancer and DNS/ IPAM technologies. You will own our internal customers’ cross-product requirements, define the work required across NPS to deliver the solutions to those requirements and maintain the relationship with those customers as the solutions are delivered. You will be working with other leaders in NPS and with project and programme managers delivering the solutions in planning and coordinating successfully delivery.Ideally, you will have existing knowledge and experience of product led solution delivery within the network engineering or operations function of a large global corporate environment.What you’ll be doingYou will be the Subject Matter Authority (SME) for the specific network solutions being delivered, engaging with customers to collect demand and requirements and understand business needs and expectations;Planning cross-product solution delivery working with the Network Product Managers and other NPS leaders to prioritise delivery of the solution;With your understanding both of network technology and services marketplace, and of the LSEG business requirements you will align network solutions, technically and commercially, to meet the customers’ requirement while meeting NPS network standards;Driving decisions that are risk balanced between requirement, timescales, budget, technology, commercial, customer/ business, compliance and regulatory considerations;Developing strategic plans to support funding of cross-product solutions where required, supporting business and financial analysis of product costs;Coordinating the delivery of the required network solutions, working with project and programme managers to assure that quality and value is built in;Be the main NPS contact for internal customers throughout the delivery of required network solutions from requirements capture to operational handover;Working alongside our other Network Solution Managers within NPS Network Product Management team to deliver solutions that meet our customers’ requirements;Working as part of our wider Network Products & Services team, helping to improve our product management approach, engagement with our customers & the quality of our networks products & services.What you’ll bringYou are an analytical problem solver, innovative and able to operate in a sophisticated technical and operational environment with an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related degree.You have worked in a global technology organisation for over 10 years with a network or software engineering background, ideally in financial services with market data comms. You are familiar with DevOps and SRE enabled product methods and approaches.You understand the role of a product manager (ideally PSPO trained) and also how projects and programmes are managed and governed. Your previous experience includes business requirements elicitation, project management and governance, and cost and budget planning.You are interested in network and telecommunications industry with good understanding of trends including the relevance and impact of cloud technologies;You have excellent relationship management and communications skills up to C-level with the ability to partner at business and technical levels.
