We are currently seeking a Network Operations Specialist that will be part of the Global Network Services team responsible for delivering reliable and flexible connectivity experience for the entire organization. Additionally, the role will provide industry networking best practices and recommend new technology platforms, collaborate with vendors and service providers to support company strategic objectives to maintain leadership in the industry.


What we’ll get you doing:


  • Configure, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain LAN, WAN infrastructure by ensuring network switches, routers and firewalls is properly optimized.
  • Collaborate with various geographically separated business teams such as Finance, R&D, 

Manufacturing and Distribution to define problems and resolve network related incidents.


  • Conduct site visits to meet with business partners or rectify network related incidents as they arise.
  • Implement secure solutions across the IT infrastructure in accordance with common security standards and in compliance with the Danaher Information Security Policy.
  • Proactive monitoring of the global network enterprise for capacity and performance
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Ensure critical patches are deployed to all firewalls and network equipment
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders

The essential requirements of the role include:


  • Sufficient working experience to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, specifically Meraki wireless access points, Palo Alto firewall, Cisco routers and switches, SilverPeak SDWAN devices.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, Variable Subnet Masking, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services.
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
  • Willing to travel for project or support related activities.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • Actual experience with security audits and remediation.
  • Have worked on Cisco ISE or equivalent.
  • Knowledge on Zero Trust Technology
  • Automation and scripting is a major plus

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.


This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
