Position: Network Operations Engineer
What you will do
The Network Operations Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance for services and systems. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and ensuring security across the network environment.
How you will do it
- Monitor network performance and resolve issues to maintain system uptime.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to network hardware and software.
- Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to optimize configurations and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security and compliance with company policies.
- Document network configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide support for network-related issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems.
- Assist with network architecture design and planning for future enhancements.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in network operations or engineering.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
