How you’ll spend your day
- Network support for WAN, Campus LAN, Wireless and Datacenter devices
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in following Routing Protocols EIGRP, OSPF and BGP
- Network hardware platform support for Cisco Nexus, Wireless (Cisco/Aruba) Riverbed, Cisco ACI, SDWAN and F5 load balancers
- Provide level 3 support for network services and requests
- Installation/upgradation of network hardware and software
- Proactively monitor, analyze and ensure performance and availability
- Respond to critical network incidents and take ownership of the tickets and work through to resolution.
- Perform configuration changes and maintenance activities
- Represent changes in CAB meetings.
- Familiar with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
Your experience and qualifications
- Engineering/bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent field
- Leading certifications in Networking (CCNA, CCNP etc.)
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in Network operations
- The candidate has at least 2 to 3 years of experience as an L3 Engineer
- Global enterprise experience preferred
- Highly knowledgeable in network technologies (WAN, datacenter networks and campus LAN).
- Good understanding of following technologies: IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP); IP filtering and firewalling; Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF); Quality of Service; MPLS; Ethernet
- Experience in Cisco/Aruba wireless technology is must
- Experience in Cisco ACI, SDWAN and F5 load balancers technologies
- Experience with Cisco, HP/Aruba, Riverbed tools and technologies
- Familiar with Service Now ticketing tool and SolarWinds monitoring tool
- Added advantage - Knowledge in Network scripting (pearl/python/SWQL)
