Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Netezza Data Engineer, you would be responsible for:
Working closely with Database Administrator’s and BI architects, Infrastructure Architects to implement Netezza solutions.
Actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and understand client requirements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in software services.
• 2+ years of experience implementing solution on Netezza.
• Good understanding of data modelling and ability of writing SQL queries
• Understanding of Netezza tools
• Understanding of Netezza Metadata tables
• Strong understanding of SQL Tuning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Must have deep understanding of methods to tune SQL queries performance.
• Must have deep understanding of Workload scheduling for Netezza.
• Must have good understanding regarding data ingestion flows.
• Must have clarity of Data Warehouse Concept and data model patterns like snow-flake, star schema, OLTP

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good to have Knowledge: Strong DBA exposure, Data Modelling, and good exposure of Operating system.
