Job Description
You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise + technical skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence.
Your Role You will lead OTM systems (IS) expertise across projects + operations in conjunction with regional network direction via both direct + indirect reports. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders. Your Responsibilities
- To ensure that only those approved IS applications such as our Transport Management Systems (TMS), along with visibility + reports are deployed.
- To coordinate the IS input for all request for tender/proposal + ensure a smooth TMS Implementation during the customer on-boarding phase.
- To ensure that TMS applications support is in place for existing operations at all times.
- To support continuous improvement activities + innovation.
- To ensure TMS governance + compliance is in place + adhered to.
- To ensure that team members are upskilled by ensuring appropriate training activities are in place.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Minimum of 6+ years of implementation and configuration experience in OTM (Oracle Transport Management), with technical and functional expertise, particularly in the distribution industry.
- Must possess functional and techno-functional experience in OTM and/or Global Transportation Management implementation. Alternatively, experience in supporting projects involving these systems and working with OTM Release 6.5.X and above, including OTM Cloud, is required.
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of the latest OTM application modules, including but not limited to: order management, OTM finance, shipment management, automation agents, and interfaces.
- Proficiency in preparing mapping documents to interface OTM systems with EDI, WMS, order management, and finance systems, along with the ability to translate operational and functional specifications into design specifications for the Offshore Delivery Centre.
- Must have the ability to write SQL statements for automation agents and other technical areas.
- Hands-on experience with JSPX/XSL will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the end-to-end OTM lifecycle, implementations, and OTM architecture is essential.
