What You’ll Do
• Work with the Team Lead, Learning media on executing the design, creation and editing of technical product videos according to an established plan. Includes planning, scripting, storyboarding and delivery.
• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify needs and create video solutions from conception to delivery.
• Research trends and recommend to the director new and improved ways of creating engaging, consumable video content.
• Plan and handle production activities like scheduling, script reading, shooting and coordination.
• Communicate technical information in non-technical terms.
• Plan post-production schedules and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing recordings, making editorial decisions, rough cuts, revisions, final edits, audio adjustment, color correction, and video transcoding.
• Create and utilize motion graphics and special effects for video post-production following the overall production concepts for video design and creation.
• Publish, organize, and optimize media for third-party video hosting web platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vidyard, etc.
• Collaborate with respective teams during the blueprint/designing phase and the deployment phase (posting, market research, SEO optimization, etc..,) .
• Collaborate with Content Developers, Product Managers and Instructional Designers for technical product related assistance.
• Coordinate internal and external video duplication and updates services as required.
• Utilize the internal project management tool to ensure timely deliveries as well as keep the project plans and statuses transparent and accessible for the wider team.
• Review the data related to viewership, engagement, and work on continuous improvement initiatives to increase consumption
Experience You’ll Bring
Job requirements and qualifications
• College diploma and/or equivalency.
• Work portfolio samples or proof of proficiency.
• 3-5+ years of previous working experience as a Video Designer, Video Producer or equivalent field.
• Understanding of storytelling concepts and formats, structure & flow, and identifying target audience.
• Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures with production techniques and standards.
• Expert knowledge of parts of the Adobe CC Suite related to video design (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition…).
• Creative and artistic skills.
• Knowledgeable of learning methodologies and adult learning best practices.
• Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills to effectively work with team members, peers, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to embrace change and process improvements to streamline work processes.
• Ability to concurrently work on multiple projects and remain flexible to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
