'The  Technical Manager - Semi-Solid Products & Processes / ESO MS&T acts as key interface between Galderma and the external suppliers to resolve technical challenges, oversee validation/verification activities and evaluate/implement technical  modifications/improvements. The position holder is the major contributor to all manufacturing related questions and topics. As Technical manager Semi-Solid Products & Processes / ESO MS&T acts , your key Responsibilities are:
Technical interface with external suppliers & internal stakeholders:
- Follow up capability & robustness for assigned CMOs, acting as the subject matter expert and focal point for manufacturing capability, capacity issues & performance. Ensures seamless flow of knowledge and information across functions, and with other Sites when applicable, for assigned product(s).
- Participate in routine meetings and lead problem solving activities using a range of lean sigma tools
- Drive trouble-shooting activities, lean initiatives and workshop at suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes/yield when applicable
- Maintain an overview risk management of processes for assigned products
Creation/review/maintenance os specific processes, including SOPs, forms and templates for Semi-solid products:
- Own the standards/tools/procedures for manufacturing of semi-solid products
- Ensure up to date MS&T standards & compliance with regulations 
Product Technical Stewardship: 
- Act as product expert and be responsible for assigned semi-solid products
- Lead process validation/verification activities at CMO site together with our partners, support root cause investigation of product and process deviations and lead process improvements (either cost/yield and/or product quality) together with key internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for applicable manufacturing documentation
- Review & approve manufacturing specifications & other technical documents (i.e. BOM, protocols & reports, etc...)
- Support other MS&T departments with competence with regards to the assigned products in order to meet companys overall objectives
- Responsible for Life Cycle Management (LCM) technical activities (process modifications, RM/PM modifications, etc...) of assigned products and the "Robustness overview" tab part of MS&T ESO Activity report
- Lead or be the technical SME for Technical Transfer activities for assigned products
- Responsible for Risk Management or risk assessment for all modifications (process modifications, RM/PM modifications, etc...) linked to assigned products
Interface with Development teams for assigned portfolio :
- Assess manufacturing capability & capacity as part of new supplier selection or existing supplier gap analysis activity
- Ensure technical excellence in operational start-up for new manufacturing equipment and areas (if used by Galderma)
- Assess supplier company and process modifications, ensuring impact on Galderma products is appropriately considered
- Ensure and support handover from R&D team to Ops team (document, development report & scale-up (pilot & commercial scale) reports) is done properly and cover all Operations needs
Manufacturing Excellence for assigned portfolio :
- Work with networks of relevant platform/cluster, driving application of standard work processes and best practices. Oversees processes and standards to maintain and improve existing and to implement new innovative manufacturing technologies
- Support Quality and Regulatory Affairs as product expert in audits, regulatory submissions document reviews, investigations and deviations
- Collaborate closely and effectively with cross-functional departments - R&D, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Manufacturing sites
