We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team, with accountability for the performance of the team activities and focuses on continuous improvement of the performance of the team from a productivity, service, quality, training and effectiveness perspective. Removing impediments for the team and shield them from interruptions, act as a coach to the team, Product Owner and wider organisation to help them continually improve and facilitates the delivery of work and where appropriate.
- Ensure all activities performed within the team adhere to the relevant data standards and data controls. Ensure the level of automation within the team is always optimised, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.
- Work with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories.Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities. Accountable for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements and control objectives within the risk and controls framework. Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the team activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly.
- Accountable for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the team. Providing support the solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to align processes to match organizations strategic goals.Review processes, ALM and DevOps, identify bottlenecks and help team optimize them including new requirements that come over time
- Engage with DevOps team to help optimize pipelines to make these finish faster with reliance. Work with Microsoft Point of Contact to infuse best practices into technical delivery. Provide technical and process (Agile) oriented best practices recommendation and help implement them. Run brown bag sessions on new platform feature released with each Wave and help team adopt them
- Review implementation, identify gaps, technical debts and help plan/execute resolution of them in timely manner. Engage with dev team to identify root cause of quality issues and help improve quality over time with increased self vigil and best practices
- Engage with dev team and DevOps to achieve compliance to quality gate.
