Job description


The Creative Team within Integrated Marketing for J.P. Morgan Payments is looking for a highly motivated Motion Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join us in Mumbai, India. This position is responsible for supporting multiple workstreams quickly and effectively through motion and visual creative assets. You will work closely with internal teams across the Payments Marketing organization to execute on business objectives, bringing to life first-class animations,videos and static creative that help lift brand awareness, connect target audiences, and increase engagement. You will take concepts from idea to production and are passionate about video content that will stand out and create a lasting impression. The ideal candidate possesses deep understanding of the latest design trends in excellent hands-on creative skills towards visual storytelling and brand consistency. No financial experience necessary but an open-minded and positive can-do attitude is a must.


Responsibilities


Collaborate with creative leads, digital designers, writers, marketers, and content strategists to understand project scope and business goals.
Produce highly engaging promotional digital assets, including but not limited to static banners, document ads, animated infographics, videos cut from live footage, event activation animations, etc.
Design, animate and edit videos
Assist in the creation of storyboards, mood boards, design frames for new animations and video templates.
Incorporate Art Director’s feedback, iterate, optimize, finalize, and prepare final deliverables.
Encode and convert animation and video files, request for ADA and add captions and/or subtitles.
Create best-in-class sizzle videos for senior executives as needed.
Support the broader Creative team with animation and video editing, custom illustration and on-brand graphic design as needed.
Bring on-trend design ideas and eager to learn and master the latest technologies in animation style and development.

Skills and qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphic Design or related field.



Minimum 5 years of experience in a highly professional corporate environment.



Work experience in an agency is a plus.



Must have a portfolio demonstrating work experience and modern aesthetic.



Mastery of video language, compositions, formats, frame rates, and codecs, and the ability to problem solve animation/video challenges.



Ability to take direction well and execute with high degree of professionalism.



Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet deadlines.



Ability to innovate, ideate, and not be constrained by what and how things have been done before.



Strong communication skills and English language fluency required.



Highly organized, detail-oriented and a proactive self-starter.



Can work both independently and as a team member.



Ability to work EMEA time zone shift
