In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing support for Middleware applications in a manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will work with a global factory network across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing Middleware infrastructure to meet performance, security, high availability and other requirements.
- Performing operational Middleware administration duties in a large-scale, complex environment. These will include deploy, configure, administer, support, upgrades, and patching.
- Provide monitoring to middleware application associated tools and utilities. Review and enhance documentation.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related engineering field. Minimum Qualification:
- Ability to function in a global 24x7 support environment, interacting with a large number of teams.
- Highly flexible, results-oriented and customer first mindset.
- Strong Analytical skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Understanding of Agile frameworks, GitHub.
Preferred qualifications:
- Have good understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
- Good programming language skill such as Python, Java, etc..
- Have good understanding of Cloud Computing - Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Containers, Object Storage.
- Have good understanding of Opensource technologies like Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search
