Job Description
As a Microservices Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of microservices-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, build, and maintain microservices that drive innovation and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices architectures using best practices and modern technologies.
- Work closely with software architects and engineers to define technical requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with existing systems and third-party services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards.
- Build robust testing frameworks and perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of microservices.
- Optimize microservices performance and scalability to handle large volumes of traffic and data.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments and provide timely resolution.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in microservices development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in designing and developing microservices architectures in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Flask, or Gin.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modelling techniques.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented setting.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or Google Cloud Developer are a plus.
