Job Details:Job Description: Foundry Services (FS) is an independent foundry business that is established to meet our customers' unique product needs. With the first Open System Foundry model in the world, our combined offerings of wafer fabrication, advanced process, and packaging technology, chiplet, software, robust ecosystem, and assembly and test capabilities help our customers build their innovative silicon designs and deliver full end-to-end customizable products from Intel's secure, resilient, and sustainable source of supply. This job opportunity in FS will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) group which is responsible for the portions of the system foundry that brings the best of Intel technologies to FS customers, differentiating and accelerating their solutions from architecture to post-silicon validation. The role of a Micro-Architect includes but is not limited to Defines, documents, and designs the microarchitecture of IP blocks or SoC, owns the RTL development for the block, and implements specification for logic components. Breaks elements into their fundamental building blocks and helps to disperse digestible pieces of coding to RTL designers. Ensures quality of design through clean design partitioning, clear microarchitectural documentation, coaching/reviewing RTL design and verification of features, and directs the circuit layout physical implementation. Designs, implements, documents, and meets power, performance, area, thermal, and timing goals. Delivers microarchitecture specifications (MAS) document along with detailed clear block diagram, signal level description, clocking details, power, and timing requirements to capture the implementation details and ensure correct interactions between blocks or IPs. Ensures secure development practices address architecture security threat model and security objects within the design. Works closely with the various SoC architects to complete architecture and microarchitecture definition.
