Job Description
Position: Manager- Reporting, Finance
Reporting to: Sr. Manager- Reporting & Controlling
Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in finance role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure both in INDAS and IFRS.
- Good knowledge of preparation of financial statement under IND AS.
- Managing statutory, Group audits and IFC audit and ensure completion on time in discussion with auditors.
- Reviewing monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet items, ensuring all balances are appropriately supported
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information and provide clear, quantifiable cause for change from forecast.
- Ensuring statutory and Group audits are completed on time, liaison with auditors.
- Providing financial summaries and reporting on various aspects of the P&L
- Support to FP&A team for various forecasting activities
- Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives
- Advising team regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions
- Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance managers regarding financial results.
- Good Knowledge of Intercompany reconciliation. Ecommerce reconciliation and inventory valuation.
- Assess impact of regulatory changes on business and develop plan to address the same from accounting point of view
People Related
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
- Team handling experience would give additional advantage.
Minimum Requirements
Educational requirement
Chartered Accountant, preferably first attempt
Technical Skills
- Four to Five years of experience in relevant field
- Good Knowledge of INDAS, IFRS and Company Law
- Experience in preparing financial statements, liaison with auditors
Computer skills
- Must be proficient in excel and power point, etc.
- Good knowledge of SAP, ARIBA, Power BI, Concur and other automative tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
