The Opportunity


The Growth and Martech Engineering team was built to deliver rich, personalized experiences for visitors across Adobe.com and XE Surfaces. This group supports web analytics instrumentation and performance tracking on Adobe's key web surfaces. The team collaborates closely with Adobe.com Growth, Commerce, Marketing, IT, business unit leaders, and corporate functions to deliver new or improved capabilities based on key testing insights, ensuring an industry-leading customer experience.


This team maintains a highly visible and strategically significant role in delivering against the strategies of the organization at large as it relates to customer experience. A deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is required. Strong organizational and communication skills are key.


We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with a strong background in front-end development and automation, with a focus on building automated frameworks for content, experience, and web page validation, developing self-service tools, API testing, and console error monitoring.


What You'll Do


  • Develop robust and scalable test automation frameworks to support continuous testing and integration.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Implement automated testing for experience validation, web page layout, functionality, and performance.
  • Execute automated tests and build advanced dashboards to view/monitor test results.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Perform API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Monitor and report console errors, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and frameworks.
  • Ensure web applications function correctly across different browsers and devices by implementing automated cross-browser testing.
  • Generate detailed test reports and documentation to provide insights into test coverage, results, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest and emerging technologies in both front-end development and automation.

What You Need to Succeed


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in front-end development and automation.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and Python.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
