Possesses a good working knowledge of technical, HSE, SWP's, Codes and Practices, and applicable legislation. Should have enough competency in rotating as well as static equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis skill. Carrying out field round for safety checks/ higher level support during critical job execution in field. Contribute to the planning of daily work programs. Supervise the shift mechanical team and associated activities so that they achieve QHSE, Integrity and Assurance. Pro- activeness in spares identification and initiation of procurement plan. Possess excellent analytical and leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical report writing capabilities. Assist with the planning and scheduling of plant and equipment shutdown programs. Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) process and review conclusions. Maintain mechanical plant and equipment to ensure that facilities and equipment achieve efficiency targets. Able to work with other teams and team leaders through influencing and negotiation to avoid conflict and arrive at the best overall outcome from a business and HSE perspective
Mechanical Degree holders: Minimum of 8 years' experience within the onshore oil & gas production field, Petrochemical or refinery with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory position.
Mechanical Diploma holders: Minimum of 10 years' experience within the onshore oil & gas production field, petrochemical or refinery with a minimum of 6 years in a supervisory position.
