The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Candidate with proven experience of 8 – 20 years in HVAC detail engineering, having worked in industrial HVAC including Precision Air Conditioning for control rooms, Pressurization system for sub-station, comfort air conditioning etc.
- Experience in Oil & Gas projects
- Experience in offshore projects is preferrable
- Experience in detail engineering of industrial HVAC CLEAN ROOM requirement shall be added advantage.
- Able to successfully lead, guide & manage a team of 2-3 HVAC engineers & 2-3 designers/draftsmen
- Understanding of overall project requirement & raising technical queries to client / licenser
- Defining the Buildings with HVAC system
- Coordination with client & other discipline for their requirement
- Preparation of Specification
- Thermal load Calculation & over back up calculation
- Checking of Drawing / Layout
- Checking of 3D model
- Preparation of Material & Work Requisition including BOQ, Data Sheet,
- Handling Vendor Technical Query/Clarification
- Technical Bid Evaluation
- Vendor Kickoff meeting
- Vendor Documentation & attending meeting
- Man Hour Planning & Monitoring
- Assigning work to HVAC engineer, designer, Modeler
- Raising the change order maintaining change log register.
- Able to track & control project workhours with respect to deliverables issued
- Project progress tracking, maintaining Deliverable Hold Register
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 5-12 years’ experience in HVAC design offshore / Refinery projects.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Developing skills in design software.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- A recognized Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
