Job Description

▪ Demonstrated experience in executing mechanical subsystem design in support of larger Electro Mechanical product/system development


▪ Good understanding of various manufacturing processes


▪ Possess and demonstrate advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function


▪ Demonstrated strong analytical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Proven experience developing 3D models


▪ Proficiency with engineering tools including FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA


▪ May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees.


▪ Provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams


▪ Has a solid knowledge of product category, understanding larger system aspects.


▪ Demonstrated understanding of cross functional processes.


▪ Demonstrated proficiency in work practices, standards, processes.


▪ Good written and verbal communication skills, effective presentations skills.


▪ Ability to collaborate, negotiate and work within a team environment.


▪ Ability to relate to others, demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process.


▪ Ability to solve problems and lead others in resolving problems.


▪ Contribute to multiple projects, involving single components or subsystems.


▪ Can quickly assess a problem and identify the key technical issues. Bases decisions on fundamental engineering principles and has a firm understanding of how the principles apply to the problem. Has an understanding of the assumptions involved and accounts for the added risks


Required Education and/or Experience:
▪ Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
▪ 3-5 years relevant experience
