Job Description
Senior Manager role in Global Capability Centre, GCC Bangalore Hub (APAC Region) responsible for smooth operations of Material Planning Operations that are in scope (Scope : Rolling Stock, D&IS & Service Business across the region APAC)
Mandatory: B.E with 13+ Years experience,
Desirable: Certification in Supply Chain or PG diploma / Masters in Management
Key Activities:
- To define the budget, strategy for smooth Material Planning Operations & to achieve un-interrupted line production, other defined objectives
- To periodically review the GCC SC BLR team Material Planning processes, operations, performance and to drive strategic, short-term actions to continuously achieve the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) set between GCC SC and sites.
- To demonstrate strong Leadership skills & engagement to develop strong talent, establish the high performance team to achieve operation excellence.
- To periodically assess the team work load, to balance the work load among the individuals in team and to seek the opportunity for continuous improvement & optimization.
- Co-ordinates with Internal & External networks to establish strong relationship between Supplier & Customer
- To define strong governance with Global, Regional & Site Key Stake holders for smooth operations & to manage the exceptions through defined escalation matrix.
