Marketing Manager (Web Operations)


We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager (Web Operations) to join the Global Marketing team. The position will be in our Mumbai office. The prospective candidate will join our Global Website team and will be responsible for planning, developing and executing web strategy and operations as a part of Kroll’s marketing function. The individual will report to the Vice President, Digital Marketing based in Toronto. The work timings for this role will be Monday to Friday 2:30-11PM IST.


Day-to-day responsibilities:


  • Manage and own Kroll’s website content management system, Sitecore. Become an expert in Sitecore and build new pages on the website using existing website templates, web guidelines and user experience best practices
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal development team to create and execute yearly development roadmap for Kroll’s corporate website. Work with the development team to explore new modules and templates to enhance website user experience.
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing, website operations and BU marketing teams to ensure proper execution of website projects
  • Drive data-driven conversations with marketing stakeholders to help achieve marketing and digital goals. Focus on key metrics like website traffic, lead generation and core web vitals
  • Train Kroll’s website team to build pages in the CMS and support implementation of new website features and capabilities. Examine and revise website material and documentation to make sure it is factually and technically accurate.
  • Keep up with technical developments, industry trends, and legal requirements to make sure the Kroll website stays at the forefront of innovation and adherence to regulations
  • Competent in managing the team's workload distribution using work management platforms like Monday.com.
  • Monitor website performance and create reports on a regular basis. Assist with the creation and upkeep of website performance dashboards that offer valuable business insights.
  • Work on various technology tools that are related to website management to ensure smooth functioning of web ecosystem. Tools include but are not limited to Cloudflare for redirect set up, Onetrust for cookies preference center set up, Google analytics 4 for website reporting etc.
  • Leverage on-the-job and external training to become an expert in Sitecore, website best practices and website analytics

Essential traits:


  • B.S./MBA in marketing with concentration in business or finance
  • 10+ years of experience in website content management system, website operations and digital marketing
  • 5+ years of experience working on Sitecore or any other complex CMS like Drupal, AEM etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology and development project management
  • Strong understanding of website user experience, search engine optimization and Google Analytics
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS to implement quick fixes and troubleshooting
  • Strong written/oral communication skills and attention to detail and quality control. Previous work experience with a global organization is a plus
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Ability to excel with little day-to-day oversight and under strict deadlines
