Job Description: Marketing Manager
Overview: Seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who will be responsible for crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and boosting sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing ATL, BTL and digital marketing campaigns, particularly within the retail sector. Strong leadership abilities, budget management expertise, and the capacity to work cross-functionally and manage external vendor and media agency relationships are essential for success in this role.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives, enhancing brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Campaign Management: Lead ATL, BTL, and digital marketing campaigns, managing them from ideation to execution across print, digital, and social media channels, ensuring they meet budget and timeline requirements.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, identify trends, and analyze competitors. Use these insights to fine-tune marketing strategies.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer service, to ensure cohesive messaging and effective execution.
- Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize future efforts and improve ROI.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and controlling expenses. Collaborate with media agencies to secure cost-effective advertising and promotional activities.
- Vendor & Media Relations: Manage external partnerships with advertising agencies, media houses, and other vendors. Negotiate terms to ensure the best pricing and value for the company.
- Digital Marketing: Spearhead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media strategies, ensuring a strong online presence and engagement with target audiences.
- Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the brand’s identity, ensuring consistency and relevance across all marketing channels.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a marketing role, ideally within the retail, textiles sectors. Strong experience in running integrated marketing campaigns, including ATL, BTL, and digital channels.
- Education: A master’s degree in marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Language: Proficiency in Malayalam is essential for communication with local suppliers and staff.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, as well as marketing performance analytics.
