As part of the South Asia Pacific (SAP) Marketing team, the Marketing Executive will provide strategic, administrative and operational support in executing the overall India SAARC marketing plans, manage the Axis Academy training program, localisation of content, and drive key digital marketing initiatives for the India SAARC region.
This dynamic role requires you to independently manage portfolios from start to finish. While you'll delegate certain tasks to vendors and other stakeholders, you need to ensure that every detail is executed completely, accurately and on time and budget.
Success in this position demands a dynamic personality and proven ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You'll need to manage expectations, provide solutions, and balance collaboration with appropriate assertiveness and diplomacy. Working closely with the sales team, you'll drive multi-channel marketing campaigns, lead generation programs, and targeted tactics across channel and end-user communities to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
Additionally, you may support larger SAP regional projects, participating in joint regional activities and programs as needed.
The role requires travel within India SAARC and internationally for approximately 25% of your time to support major trade shows and events across the region.
This role is based in Bangalore, India.
Key responsibilities will include:
Academy Training Program
Plan and execute Academy training program in collaboration with the sales team to drive adoption and certification targets, including managing registration for trainer-led classes and tracking attendance and exam pass rates
Work with HQ to roll out campaigns to drive Academy awareness and interest
Channel Marketing
Collaborate with sales team to focus on channel development and specific vertical segments to execute integrated marketing strategies targeting end users, channel partners
Support local marketing activities through integrated strategies including PR, industry association involvement, advertising, marketing communications, and channel marketing
Events Management
Assist in planning and execution of events / exhibitions that drive meaningful demand and lead generation results for Axis
Coordinate logistical arrangements with vendors and stakeholders, including venue booking, travel planning, and shipping management
Marketing operations and administrative support
Manage internal demo unit orders from different stakeholders, secure the necessary pricing and approvals, then order, track and advise requestors of incoming shipments
Prepare metrics and reports to management when required for review
Collaborate with Finance on invoices, payments, spending forecasts and budget monitoring
Work with existing or source for alternative printers and vendors on collaterals and giveaways
Content, Digital and Social Media marketing
Partner with sales team and regional HQ to plan and execute digital programs, including webinars and content translation
Execute and track digital marketing campaigns to meet objectives
Channel Marketing
Collaborate with sales team to focus on channel development and specific vertical segments to execute integrated marketing strategies targeting end users, channel partners
Support local marketing activities through integrated strategies including PR, industry association involvement, advertising, marketing communications, and channel marketing
Additional duties may be assigned based on business requirements.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field with at least 2 years of marketing experience
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite is critical
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (regional languages a plus)
Experience with marketing automation (Salesforce, Pardot preferred)
Experience in events marketing and/or digital marketing is a strong plus
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and PDF) is a plus
Able to exercise initiative and thrive in an open, transparent work culture with minimal supervision

Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking capabilities
