The Marketing Director, Asia Pacific for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will be an integral member of the APAC Leadership team who will be responsible for driving and executive the overall APAC growth strategy. He/she will be the driving force behind our marketing initiatives, leading your team to employ Danaher Business System (DBS) Commercial tools and developing innovative strategies. Your mission is to empower country leaders with effective, profitable sales approaches across direct and indirect channels, while spearheading mass engagement efforts with target customers through digital marketing, trade shows, and other platforms.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Marketing Strategy & Strategic Planning, such as Market share capture – backed by data analytics; Utilize Commercial Equation 2.0 to guide country leadership in crafting market-optimized sales and marketing strategies, grounded in local market conditions, competition, pricing, and operational plans (OP); Apply DBS tools like the Revenue Achievement/Accelerated Booking workshop to fine-tune strategies and execution; Ensure cohesive alignment between marketing, sales, and strategic planning, incorporating regional insights and needs using SCR and CE.
  • Growth strategy development by product modality by building strong relationships with BU/HGM leaders across product lines; Collaborate with global commercial leaders to refine strategies, ensuring APAC needs are prioritized in future pipeline development; Create customized selling pathways for each product opportunity, ensuring effective communication of value propositions; Innovate strategies to maximize the ROI of congresses, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Marketing budget and cost management by ensuring that the annual regional marketing plan is in line and achievable with the expected funding levels; Establish processes to handle marketing funds allocation and track spending; Collaborate with Global marketing to define the optimal marketing mix that will achieve the performance goals for the region and exploit regional cross-category opportunities.
  • LEXF and NPD ownership and delivery - Lead marketing teams in developing actionable launch plans aligned with the Lex process, taking country’s P&L targets into account.
  • Tactical execution of campaigns including unified product launches by strengthen regional brand presence through localized conferences, sponsorships, digital channels, and strategic partnerships; develop thought capital for KOL engagement and drive advocacy for the Beckman Coulter portfolio of product; Create impactful programs at major conferences to enhance brand equity; Leverage digital campaigns and social media to amplify messaging and generate leads; Foster cross-regional marketing collaborations.
  • APAC Internal Communication by publish regular updates via newsletters, mobile/podcast formats, and arrange calls to facilitate access to expert assistance for local sales teams.

The essential requirements of the job include:


  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s/Doctoral degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in progressive Marketing, Product Management, and Sales leadership, ideally as a General Manager in the medical field.
  • Deep understanding of the IVD industry, products, and services.
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning and team development; Broad marketing proficiency, including Voice of Customer, campaign management, demand generation, pricing, market segmentation, digital marketing, and competitor assessment.
  • Experience leading e-commerce and digital marketing teams to achieve significant revenue targets.
  • A data-driven, analytical approach to commercialization.

LANGUAGE CAPABILITY: English, and any local language would be a plus


TRAVEL:   Estimated to up to 50% of the time.
