Role Description


The Client Experience, Marketing & Digital Sales (CXMDS) team is responsible for consistent digital touchpoints across all sales channels and always focuses on customer needs to boost digital sales activities. The team ensures the operation of our strategic digital platforms and works on the tactical and strategic development of our digital eco-system. We work closely with internal sales functions, marketing and event managers, technology departments, and external vendors.

Your key responsibilities


As (Junior) Business Manager, you will focus on supporting activities, which are in the main to ensure the delivery of our CXMDS COO’s responsibilities. In the context of supporting the COO’s responsibilities, the tasks of the (Junior) Business Manager will be very diverse and may include:


  • Operational business planning
  • Financial control and reporting tasks
  • Control function liaison
  • Service management and enhancement
  • Aspects of facilities management to both accommodate current business need as well as to ensure future ability to conduct planned business activity
  • Co-ordination of business case approval and project sponsorship
  • Hold relationships with a broad range of internal points of contact across all divisions within DWS Client Coverage Division
  • The (Junior) Business Manager must be able to support the COO for consolidating the results of this broad range of activities, whilst managing the ongoing line relationships in order to collate and validate required output and synthesize the relevant business insights for senior management

Your skills and experience


  • Bachelor and/or advanced degree
  • 3-5 years of working experiences in Financial Industry is preferred
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills with an ability to understand/ dissect complex problems; strategic and creative thinking aptitude
  • Collaborative problem solver focusing on outcomes and strong project management skills
  • Comfortable working in a multi-dimensional/fast-paced environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to clearly articulate ideas, issues and solutions
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), German is a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint skill is essential
