Key Accountabilities


  • Proven expertise in integrating MES, Manufacturing Systems - ERP (Dynamics365 and Oracle) with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Deep understanding of both Operations Technology and Information Technology (IT) systems, including their architectures, protocols (e.g. OPC UA), and technologies. This includes knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, Historians, networking layers, cybersecurity principles, and IT infrastructure.
  • Serve as ERP Integration expert for India Manufacturing Operations
  • Collaborate with factories and functions to design and implement solutions that optimize manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
  • Act as the ERP subject matter expert between Business and IT
  • Support the implementation of MES, Dynamics 365, and IoT solutions, ensuring seamless integration and scalability across sites.
  • Ensure cyber-secure integration between the IT and Operations Technology layers
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architecture diagrams, process flows, and user guides.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Support implementation projects, including configurations, testing, and deployment
  • Drive compliance with policies and regulations related to manufacturing areas and software development within FLS environment
  • Familiar with technologies such as Machine Vision, IoT, Edge Computing, and Predictive Analytics amongst others.
  • Collaborate with Group Digital Services (IT) and its partners in the execution of digital programs and proof of concepts. Also ensure regulatory compliance and assess / identify / mitigate risks
     

What you bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Engineering / Technology, an advanced degree / certification is added advantage
  • 10-14 years of experience in design and implementation of Manufacturing Systems ERP and Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions , preferably in the heavy engineering industry
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and automation
  • Experience with ERP (Dynamics365, Oracle), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Familiar with technologies such as Machine Vision, IoT, Edge Computing, cloud-based integration platforms and Predictive Analytics amongst others.
  • Experience with Master Data Management (manufacturing), quality, and supply chain.
  • Experience supporting full lifecycle implementations of enterprise solutions, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools like Visio, MS Project & JIRA
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot.
  • Strong leadership and managerial attributes.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
