Your responsibilities

• Execution of NPD (New Product Development), Proto/Production builds at shopfloor as per scheduled targets by working with various cross functional teams and adhere to change management process
• MBOM execution & Routing production version in ERP
• Installation and commissioning of the new MHE/ Cranes and Process equipment
• Coordination of Capex projects
• Follow up with suppliers for development and installation of jigs, fixtures & templates, lifting devices & assembly aids for Productivity & quality improvements.
• Documentation of Process plan, PFMEA, Control plan, Standard Work Instructions (SOP) for various manufacturing processes of Fabrication, Paint & Assembly.
• Conduct Time study through prevailing techniques - Define standard Cycle time for the fabrication & Assembly parts.
• Productivity improvements by process improvements, Cycle time reduction, identifying & Reduction/Elimination of NVA.
• Execute machine integration, programming changes to PLCs, Manufacturing systems and Test equipment
• Work with operations team in developing utilization plans that aligns with business objectives

What you bring

• Experience with reading and interpreting engineering Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings with understanding of geometric tolerancing.
• Experience in designing requirements, managing, integration and implementation of Capital assets
• Thorough knowledge on Fabrication, Welding & Machining processes
• Experience in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc.,)
• Thorough knowledge in manufacturing concepts (Lean manufacturing, Tooling Controls etc.,)
• Hands on experience in documenting procedures, FMEA and Control plans
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Education Qualification

Diploma / bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering from a reputed University with demonstrated success in executing new projects or continuous improvement projects

Experience

4- 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Process Engineering / Technical in Heavy Equipment Industries
