Manual and Automation Testing with Core Banking

About the team:

Modern Banking Platform’s is Core engineering team part of the larger Banking Solutions Platform IT Delivery operation, our team is at the forefront of supporting FIS’ next generation Profile Core Banking Solution. We use industry-leading technologies, applications, and automation to deliver and support FIS IT technologies. We are into client deliveries include commitments for our existing production customers as well as customers where implementation is under way.

What you will be doing:

• Develops, maintains and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
• Responsible for Test case design and test case review
• Leading the QA activities/development team within the scrum team
• Automate the test cases using SOAP UI/Postman 
• End of end responsibility of delivery with quality and Support to maintenance team on need basis

What you bring:

• 3 to 6 Years in Experience in manual/automation Test case preparation, test execution and test script preparation
• 3+ Years of experience in Web services or API testing using tools like SOAP UI or Postman and SQL
• Should have sound knowledge in Core banking domain (Retail Deposits or Retail Lending) and Hands on experience in Core banking products
• Good knowledge on defect and test management tools (Jira/Test rail etc.) and automation tools (Selenium)
• Exposure to Agile Methodology - PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives.  Good knowledge in SDLC and User Story Effort Estimation, Test Plan Preparation & Defect tracking

Added bonus if you have:

• Good to have completed Testing certifications like ISTQB, CSTE
• Exposure towards Agile methodology
• Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
• Knowledge of financial services industry
