Job Description
OVERVIEW: The role of the Manager, Internal Communication, India is expected to spend the majority of his/her/their time on building on the global, & EM plans to develop/execute cluster specific plans to enable and drive employee communications with the objective of informing, motivating and inspiring Team India.
- Timelines – April to November 2025 (8 months)
- Date of Joining – latest by mid-March for training purposes & proper handover
Key Responsibilities & stakeholders – Q2 & Q3:
India cluster encompasses of two organizations which the individual will be responsible for – Market (adidas India business) & India Tech Hub.
- Market Stakeholders – GM adidas India, Senior Director HR & India SLT.
- Tech Hub Stakeholders – SVP Sales Tech, Tech Project Manager and responsible for program and Strategy office
- Emerging Markets Internal Comms Team
Partner with GM & the India Tech Hub lead and their senior leadership teams across key functions to identify topics & stories impacting the India narrative to be communicated on relevant comms channels
India
- EM and India business strategy – Business strategy
- Any change management & business moments
- Brand
- Global key visits – wrap up posts
- Drive the Townhalls for India – Q1’25, Q2’25 & Q3’25
Tech Hub
- Global and local events
- Key visits if any
- Drive the townhalls for Tech – Q2, Q3 & Q4
- Organizational topics & change management
Common: Global Week of Inclusion, Move for the planet etc. global moments
Support to functions: HR – Work with the HR teams to drive specific HR topics and support on fine tuning the comms and partner with the DEI teams for the DEI moments as identified above.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Language: Highly fluent in English (written and spoken), other languages are an advantage
- Editorial: Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English
- Understanding of business topics: Ability to translate complex strategy to employees
- Event, Campaign Planning and Project Management: Ability to plan large scale events and coordinate with stake holders and event agencies
- Creativity: Ability to identify new and exciting ways to engage employees and capture their attention
- Basic videography and photography skills is an added advantage
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent in business, communications, journalism or marketing
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including corporate communication, internal communication, media relations, event organization, and issues management. Additional experience in media agency is helpful.
