Overview

As part of Global Technology Solutions (GTS), Chief Data Office (CDO), Finance, Billing and Regulatory reporting technology team is looking to hire a senior technology delivery leader to provide strategy direction, build teams and provide delivery oversight across multiple functions across India. Team is operating globally and will continue to look at better workforce foot print strategy across multiple functions. In support of this strategy, the senior technology leader role for these functions will be based out of India and provide oversight of technology delivery between employees and IT vendor resources operating in the region.


Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for leading teams across major functions for CDO, Finance, Billing and regulatory reporting
  • Responsible for Governance and Management of expanded enterprise data policy, global regulatory demands and exams support, providing oversight to business data policy compliance
  • Responsible Technical data platform teams (Collibra, Data Quality, Privacy, Master Data Mgmt etc..)
  • Build and manage global initiatives such as Client 360, Market Data Hub, and regulatory preparation and remediation
  • Provide Leadership to  all aspects of the data management, Data Governance, Architecture and Analytics
  • Development of proprietary processes and procedures designed to process various data streams around internal data sources
  • Manage a team of functional and technical resources around data management, data governance, data engineering and analytics.
  • Provide strategic leadership in expanding and executing the Finance IT organization through transformation efforts and Integrate with Business ops teams in the region.
  • Provide senior mgmt. oversight for regional leadership roles across CDO, Finance and Reg reporting functions.
  • Be a part of the leadership team in driving strategy covering workforce modeling, planning right sourcing of roles and ensuring timely onboarding and delivery
  • Make effective recommendations to build an organizational model that can effectively serve high quality delivery and ensure the communication between the functions is seamless
  • Be a catalyst in driving cultural integration ensuring the local team thinks global while acting local
  • Promote diversity and inclusion, providing transparency in organizational work activities
  • Ensure talent planning, management and related supporting deliverables including but not limited to  - succession planning, critical role identification, coaching and diversity hiring are done with the partnership of both global functional managers and HR
  • Promote the culture of risk excellence in people, process and technology aspects. Ensure self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages and reports all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities
Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
  • 20 + years of related experience, with experience working in global locations in Financial Services Industry
  • Deep functional knowledge of the financial industry, preferably in Investment banking, Finance & Data Management
  • Ability to manage large diversified teams spread across multiple locations or regions and distributed workforce (Employee and IT vendors) 
  • Good technology & data capabilities, should be able to participate in technology strategic discussions and provide direction
  • Should have experience in delivering large scale, complex and transformational projects. 
  • Should have experience in Distributed Agile and Lean practices.
  • Should have good understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing and the emerging technologies
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and contract management
  • Ability to articulate technology matters with the business and vice versa
  • Must be able to establish and report on key performance indicators.
  • Ability to work in a high pressured and time sensitive environment
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining inter- and intra-team relationships.
  • Must have a broad and sufficiently deep understanding of Data management, Data Engineering, ERP, EPM & Reg reporting
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
