Role Purpose An IT Business Analyst is required to join our growing team who support Vodafone in delivering high profile internal and customer facing projects and programmes
Experienced in a wide range of business analysis tools and techniques, your focus will be to:
• Effectively capture, document and manage business need (including shaping and scoping ideas, aligning to business strategy and business goals, eliciting business requirements, and ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle)
• Accurately assessing business architecture impact (including the impact of change on existing process, organisation and technology, capturing and documenting new and updated business processes, business intelligence, data and information modelling)
• Work closely with a range of senior stakeholders from both the business and technical teams, to ensure that we deliver simply brilliant products and services to our customers, and cutting edge IT to our staff
Working within our IT Business Analysis team, you will lead the analysis effort on significant and often market leading projects, through owning and facilitating the requirements process and providing analytical and commercial insight to drive solutions.
A confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills, you will be experienced in working up to senior management level and have the ability to structure complex information and communicate in the most appropriate way to the relevant stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
 Identify, build and maintain trusted relationships with all the key project stakeholders.
 Keep Project Managers and Solution Architects updated on project activities and escalate where necessary
 Understand and shape scope of the project and the business driver behind change
 Using appropriate business analysis tools and techniques to gather document and communicate the Business Requirements effectively.
 Assess the impact of proposed changes and provide an impact assessment to the project scope and deliverables.
 Lead the analysis effort on projects by taking responsibility for providing insight to required change, developing the initial project concept, challenging assumptions, prioritising business needs and owning the requirements process.  
 Drive and lead the requirement activities on a project/programme whilst maintaining the customer at the heart of everything we do.  
 Document and communicate business design to ensure clarity of understanding on impacted stakeholders and business sponsors using appropriate tools, techniques, and guidelines.
 Use Business Architecture methods, where appropriate, to ensure the people, process and technology impacts of the project are clearly understood.
 Actively identify and engage in opportunities for Continuous Improvement to evolve the capability of the team.
 Actively participate in the growth of the team by sharing project and business knowledge.
 Keep the Analysis and Design Senior Manager updated of any risks, issues or changes to any resource estimates.
 Build and maintain open communication both internally within the team, and externally with project stakeholders, customers, suppliers and peers
 Ensure that key stakeholders understand the value of the business analysis activities and how they fit into the project delivery lifecycle.
