As a Manager, Product Design, you will partner with product management, engineering and business leaders to lead a team of designers and build delightful experiences for our customers. You will establish and promote a design culture throughout the organization and help Zscaler be more design-driven. You will explain the design vision and strategy while overseeing the user experience and instilling design thinking into the product development lifecycle. You will simultaneously balance and lead design and technical goals and shape the visual design language for the user experience across the application suite while ensuring execution excellence within your team.


We're looking for an experienced Product Design Manager to join our team Reporting to the Head of UX, you'll be responsible for:


  • You'll lead by example, a team of global product designers and researchers to deliver end-to-end application design across multiple products and create amazing experiences that delight customers
  • You'll acquire deep understanding of our users by diving deep, employing different techniques (e.g. customer interviews, surveys, usability tests) to provide relevant guidance and inputs to your team
  • You'll develop scalable cutting edge and flexible global design guidelines to maintain clean and consistent user interfaces across products as we grow.
  • You'll develop existing talent and hire only the best through rigorous screening and hiring processes
  • You'll manage the delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualization
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Must have 8+ years of IC UX and/or Product Design experience for a world-class enterprise software/product company (B2B SaaS) along with 4+ years of experience managing a design team
  • Must have experience shipping world-class product designs in Figma, Sketch or comparable tools with relentless focus on delivering simple and intuitive solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrable success in crafting, innovating and scaling strong UX designs that get the customers job done and delight users and experience working with and contributing to Design Systems
  • Understading technical limitations and front-end development techniques (HTML, CSS, JS frameworks).
  • Only applications with a portfolio showcasing past world-class design work will be considered
