Lead a team of business development professionals at Amazon Pay in Bangalore, focusing on strategic partnerships with major retail brands across India. You will build and manage a high-performing team while spearheading initiatives to expand Amazon Pay's acceptance at physical retail locations. Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of account managers, providing coaching, mentoring, and career development opportunities to drive high performance
- Build and manage relationships with senior decision-makers at national and regional retail chains to drive Amazon Pay adoption
- Create and execute strategic business plans with merchants, establishing growth targets and ensuring successful delivery through your team
- Own end-to-end P&L responsibility for the offline merchant segment, including forecasting, reporting, and business reviews with senior leadership
- Drive operational excellence through data-driven decisions, implementing processes to scale merchant onboarding and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, technology, and operations to enhance merchant experience and resolve escalations
A day in the life
Your morning begins with your team's daily standup, reviewing key metrics and addressing any merchant escalations. You'll then transition to strategic meetings with retail executives, followed by one-on-one coaching sessions with your team members. Your afternoon might include a business review with senior leadership, collaborating with product teams on merchant feedback, and working on long-term growth strategies for your portfolio.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
8+ years of experience in technical business development, partner management, or solution architecture
Experience developing and managing technology partnerships with demonstrated results in revenue growth
Experience in technical sales cycles and consultative solution development
Experience building business cases and financial models
Experience presenting technical solutions to senior executives and stakeholders
