The Safety Head for the India region will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety policies, programs, and procedures across all Plants. This role aims to ensure a safe working environment, compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting culture of safety within the organization.
Develop and implement safety strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate guidelines and local regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of manufacturing facilities to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Stay abreast of relevant safety regulations and standards, ensuring compliance across all facilities within the region.
Regularly review and update safety policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Promote Safety culture and ensure Safety rules and behaviors are respected and implemented.
Safety Audit of all Plants on TSI (Total Safety Index). Reporting Incidents /Accidents for all India Plants
Support to HSE representatives for Safety trainings.
Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes and complete CAPA.
Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to Plants and employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Ensure Plants maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment.
Raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture.

What makes you great
Diploma in Industrial Safety Certify with Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001
Knowledge of Industrial Safety requirement related to industries.
12-16 Years of Experience preferably in Manufacturing Industry
Knowledge of EHS Statutory and Regulatory Compliances (Both central and state)
Preferred knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Machines
