You’ll make a difference by:
- Engineering and Design of switchyard/ substation electrical facilities while acting as the Responsible Engineer for all voltage levels (up to 440kV) substation projects and resolving technical issues associated with substation engineering.
- LV panel and HV panels Design.
- Complete Electrical distribution system Design.
- Design Exp. of LT switch boards, LV switch boards for projects.
- Design, Execution and Co-ordination of Primary and Secondary Electrical Systems for Distribution Substations, Industrial Substations, plant equipment electrical systems.
- Control & relay protections, Sub Station SCADA systems, Metering systems. UPS & DC Systems, Cable carrier systems, Lighting, Earthing systems.
- Power distribution solutions comprising HV Air & GIS SS, Containerized substation.
- Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation.
- Developing electric substation drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and physical drawings; such as plan views, elevation views, control panel layouts, control building layouts
- Performing substation design calculations and analysis; such as short circuit stand, ground grid analysis & design, lightning protection, voltage drop and AC & DC station service sizing.
- Experience with Protection & Controls design, schematic diagrams, grounding, and one-line diagrams.
- Develops preliminary scope of work based on project summary/description provided.
- Experience with Protection & Controls design, schematic diagrams, grounding, and one-line diagrams.
- Ability and willingness to travel to clients' construction sites as needed with in short notice.
Your success is grounded in:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of overall engineering work experience.
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Design & Simulation: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PSpice, MATLAB, ETAP, ANSYS.
- Renewable Energy Systems: Photovoltaic Systems, Wind Turbines, Energy Storage Solutions, Microgrid Design.
- Electrical Engineering Software: LabVIEW, Multisim, Eagle PCB, Power World, Simulink.
- Regulatory Knowledge: NEC, IEEE Standards.
- Should have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask.
