Job Description
Quality Assurance leader for Pune India location
- Develop and implement an innovative strategy for the testing and validation of all product changes
- Build and coach a team responsible for test plan creation and execution keeping test prioritization in mind
- Drive the creation and maintenance of test libraries to include Functional , Regression , System and End to End tests
- Continually seek to improve existing testing processes, tooling and artifacts and maintain effective documentation of the same
- Develop processes to more tightly integrate Software testing with Product Development; which will include working in Test Automation strategies
- Develop Test Automation Strategy to increase coverage and drive effective test execution
- Work with Development and Product Management to ensure appropriate test plan creation and execution keeping in line with customer asks
- Drive Quality Gates for each Software Release working in conjunction with Release Management , ensuring adherence to Release Sign off criteria
- Create Metrics, Dashboards and effective Reports that chart the trend of Product Quality
- Driving Module Knowledge and expertise sessions between Subject Matter Experts and Test Engineers to drive the culture of “Smart Testers”
- Drive Anomaly resolution through monitoring of Defect and Bug Backlogs , highlighting the aging of defects to Engineering and Product Managers
- Resource Management providing mentoring and direction to quality assurance professionals
