You’ll enjoy scope, ownership, and impact only limited by your own capability.Our development ecosystem:Languages: Java, Spring, RubyFrontend: Node/React JSMySQL/PostgreSQLRedis / MemcacheELK stack / ElasticSearchWavefront, OpsGenieMicroservices, RESTful API designAsynchronous messaging / pub-sub Jenkins CICD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, GCPGitHub, JIRA, Confluence, AsanaYou’ll spend time on the following:You will take full ownership of the project deliveries of our global platform applications and ensure that we deliver the best outcome for our customersYou will collaborate within the team and outside teams in the organizations to ensure that required business features, high performance and cost effective solution are implemented effectivelyDrive technical discussion and decisions within the team’s scope, participate in design and code reviews Hire and develop the team members and manage their performance activelyYou will own multiple projects and teams may including other managersYou will foster culture of collaboration, ownership and accountabilityYou will evangelize the best practices for agile development practicesYou will make process improvements to ensure alignment with company values and optimize the resourcesWe’re excited about you if you have:BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering from a recognised institute10+ years of overall industry experience with 4 years of leadership (hands-on engineering management) role in developing and supporting web applications, micro services in distributed environmentExperience with managing platform services, delivering projects in dynamic environmentExperience with managing high performance individuals in different timezonesGood communication and collaboration skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.Strong experience in programming languages - Java and competent in designing and building enterprise-scale applications, common frameworks, etc. Experience building and scaling large scale distributed systems and development experience with service-oriented architectures/microservicesPrior AWS/GCP/Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry experience is a must.Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka etc.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes desiredExperience with both Relational(MySQL, Postgres) and Non-relational Databases(Cassandra, MongoDB) etc.Experience with ecommerce and/or SaaS based systemsExperience with front-end technologies like Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, PreactJS etc. is a plus.Experience with cache like Memcache, Redis, Aerospike etc.,Experience and understanding of development frameworks like Spring, Play, DropWizard etc.Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Hive, HBase is a plus.
