Key Responsibilities:
Managing day to day operations of a Security Application Software Engineering team.
Leading a team of software engineers who are involved in Design, develop, and unit test Forescout eyeSight product features to develop new functionality, improving product capability and enhancing customer experience.
Responsible for the coaching and technical career development of direct reports, including removing impediments to success.
Hire and perform performance assessments as required.
Collaborate with other technical teams, understand complex technical innerworkings, and meet the quality expectations of the R&D organization.
Collaborate across multiple time zones with multiple R&D teams.
Actively suggest and describe ways to improve the supportability of Forescout products.
Attract, recruit, and hire Software Engineers when required.
What You Will Bring To Forescout
3+ years of Technical Leadership and/or Management experience in software
10 - 14 years of hands on experience in development, testing, systems engineering, utilizing workflows for orchestration, and third party integrations.
Hands-on experience with at least two of these languages: Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, JavaScript
Hands on knowledge of Software Engineering best practices, development tools, code repository, and build management.
Hands on knowledge of software QA engineering concepts and techniques.
Process creation when necessary and evolution of existing processes when appropriate
Working knowledge on TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SSH and other networking protocols 8. Deep knowledge of development and experience with Agile/Kanban/Scrum methodologies
